| Weekly real estate sales in Dubai reach Dh1.18 billion according to Dubai Land Department |
The combined value of real estate sales in Dubai during the week reached Dh1.18 billion. Property transactions include those of plots, flats and villas on March 2, 3, 4 and 5, 2008. The total value of land sales during the period under review was Dh1.01 billion.
During the week, the highest sale was recorded at Emirates Hills Third for an open plot. The transaction involved Dh64, 505,000. The second highest sale saw an open plot at Dubai Sports City disposed for Dh51, 738,480. All the villa registrations during the period were for properties at Emirates Hills Third and Arabian Ranches.
The total value of mortgages reached Dh378.5 million on March 4 and 5. Al Ruwwayah area in Dubai witnessed the maximum number of real estate sales during the week (20).
