- Passione Amorosa is judged the best Rayana design at De Beers’ Diamond Jewellery Design Competition
Well-known diamond jewellery brand Scintilla Monaco was awarded the prize for the best Rayana design at the first Diamond Jewellery Competition organised by De Beers Group Marketing for the Middle East.
The winning paroure was designed by Maria Nachawi, a talented 23-year-old designer who is part of the creative team of Scintilla Monaco. Her delicate and feminine interpretation of Rayana concept (“opulence” in Arabic) created a stunning set of diamond jewels, elegant, glamorous and precious.
Combining elegance and sophistication, the Rayana concept is based on extensive consumer feedback which concludes that women would like to emphasize the abundance of diamonds in their jewellery pieces. As a result, Rayana creations contain more diamonds and less gold.
