1. Great Dubai Wheel
Plot size: 0.5 million sq. ft

The Great Dubai Wheel provides visitors to Dubailand an entirely different and new perspective of Dubai. Dubai Wheel will be one of the biggest wheels in the world (bigger than London Eye and the Singapore Flyer). During the exciting journey on the Wheel, the visitor can view distances of up to 50km that include sections of Dubailand, the vibrant BAWADI Boulevard, Global Village, Sports City and many other developments.

2. Aqua Dunya
Plot size: 8 million sq. ft

Aqua Dunya is a world class integrated family resort destination inspired by the mythical tale of Rakaan, an intrepid sea-farer from the turn-of-the-century Dubai. The massive Desert Pearl Cruise Ship is anchored in the central oasis, surrounded by Aqua Dunya Adventure Reef Hotels and the colourful Port District, for eclectic shopping and dining.

3. Dreamworks
Plot size: 5 million sq. ft

 ‘Dreamworks’ brings to life the much-loved characters from Dreamworks Animation films including Shrek, the upcoming Kung Fu Panda and several other to create adventures and attractions in a first-of-its-kind development for the studio. The segment also covers Dreamworks Animation themed restaurants, hotels, retail outlets providing unique experiences through the use of innovative media and creative storytelling.

4. Six Flags
Plot size: 5 million sq. ft

 ‘Six Flags’ is a multibillion dirham thrill-driven theme park in partnership with the US-based Six Flags Inc. The park will feature thrill and themed adventure rides, besides world renowned sports and entertainment stars like Bugs Bunny, Superman, Batman, the children’s musical group Wiggles and professional skateboarder Tony Hawk.

5. Universal City
Plot size: 22 million sq. ft

 The Dh8 billion ‘Universal City’ was launched on April 30, 2007. This development includes 4 hotels, retail, residential as well as commercial components. The City will also be home to ‘Universal Studios’ – a theme park facility with exceptional movie-themed rides, shows, characters and attractions. The studio covers an area of 6.5 million sq.ft at the centre of ‘Universal City’. It will be one of the 4 similar Universal Studios theme parks around the world; besides those in Los Angeles, Florida, Singapore and Japan.

Aside from the above parks, Dubailand will host HIT Entertainment, a leading children’s entertainment producer in the world. With more than 1,500 hours of pre-school programming, HIT shows are sold to more than 240 territories worldwide.
