‘The Dunes' at Dubai Sports City is an 18-hole signature course designed by golfing champion, Ernie Els. It is a links-style course with a decidedly traditional design.

Complimenting the world-class playing standards at ‘The Dunes,' is the Butch Harmon School of Golf for players of all ages and a club house.

The Dunes and the Butch Harmon School of Golf will be managed by internationally-renowned company, Troon Golf.

Manchester United Soccer Schools are renowned for their world-class coaching programmes; these academies offer the opportunity to live a dream and experience the magic of Manchester United while emphasizing teamwork, discipline, and most importantly, fun. The Manchester United Soccer Schools Programme was launched in Dubai Sports City in November 2005 by the Manchester United Manager, Sir Alex Ferguson.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has shifted its headquarters from London to Dubai Sports City. Besides the offices of ICC, Dubai Sports City is home to the first ICC Global Cricket Academy, offering a synergy of skills and facilities that will allow cricketers to develop and hone their skills.

The David Lloyd Tennis Academy has an excellent track-record of developing talented youngsters on the court. Founded by British Davis Cup Captain David Lloyd, the Academy boasts an environment where everyone learns, develops, grows as well as participates in leagues and events for more competitive players.

Butch Harmon is widely regarded as the best golfing coach in the world and the Butch Harmon School of Golf in Dubai Sports City helps aspiring golfers understand their own unique game. The institution features state-of-the-art computer and video equipment that analyze a player's swing. It offers tailor-made instructions for all levels of players, from amateur to pro. With the Ernie Els signature course nearby, the Butch Harmon School of Golf would be a perfect launching pad for budding champs.

In addition to the academies and stadiums, Dubai Sports City has a world-class medical facility that includes a specialist sports medicine and rehabilitation centre.
