Stadiums
The Dubai Sports City stadium complex features 4 arenas for various events. There are stadiums for cricket and hockey, an outdoor multipurpose arena for football, rugby and track & field, as well as an indoor multipurpose stadium for basketball, volleyball, netball and other hard-court indoor games.
i. Cricket
Dubai Sports City's 25,000-seat cricket stadium is expandable to include 30,000 and offers state-of-the-art facilities. It is set to be one of the most advanced of its kind in the world and the International Cricket Council (ICC), the world-governing body of cricket, has been involved at all stages of the design process to ensure that the stadium meets the relevant specifications for hosting international cricket fixtures.
ii. Rugby
The Rugby stadium has a seating capacity of 60,000 people. Its flexible design allows it to host football matches and track & field events as well.
Besides these, Dubai Sports City has basketball and tennis courts.
