 ‘Global Village’ is a cultural edutainment district, bringing together diverse customs and cultures as well as covering a broad spectrum of activities including music, dance, arts and handicrafts, theatre, costumes and cuisine. It incorporates 6 individual Pavilions of shopping, surrounding a scenic landscaped lake area. Each Pavilion represents a region of the world: Africa, Arabia, Pan America, Far East, Asia and Europe. ‘Global Village’ also has an Amphitheatre for folkloric festivals and musical events.

2. Falconcity of Wonders
Plot size: 40 million sq. ft

 ‘Falconcity of Wonders’ celebrates the cultural diversity of Dubai by pooling the historical and modern icons of architecture together. Commemorating the heritage of the UAE, the development is shaped as a falcon. It will feature ancient and modern architectural wonders like the Pyramids, the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, the Eiffel Tower, Taj Mahal, the Great Wall of China, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, and the Lighthouse of Alexandria.

3. Legends
Plot size: 24 million sq. ft

‘Legends’ is a fascinating leisure and cultural project consisting of three main components, all inspired by the rich Arabian heritage and culture.

4. Al Sahra Resort
Plot size: 40 million sq. ft

 Part of Dubai Heritage vision, the Al Sahra Resort offers visitors an experience of Arab hospitality and culture, arts and crafts in a natural desert oasis landscape environment. It targets eco-tourism and encompasses an entertainment complex with an amphitheatre and a Bedouin style working farm with date plantation, camels as well as stables. The amphitheatre has a seating capacity of up to 2,500 spectators, traditional Arabic craft souk, restaurants and a coffee shop surrounded by indigenous flora and fauna. The star attraction of the development is an imagistics theatre show, ‘Jumana – Secret of the Desert.’
