Conceptual master plan for Six Flags Dubailand developed

Six FlagSix Flags Dubailand, a multi-billion dirham leisure and entertainment real estate project in Dubai, has announced the development of conceptual master plan. The first Six Flags project to be developed outside of North America, the theme park comes as part of Tatweer's tactical contribution to Dubai Strategic Plan 2015, which aims to develop UAE's business capital into a leading global hub for tourism and leisure.

Mohammed Alhabbai, CEO Dubailand said: "We are proud to announce the development of the concept master plan which demonstrates our commitment to add unique facets to Dubailand in partnership with globally renowned brands. Our relentless efforts will continue to expedite the pace of the project even as other components of Dubailand are fast taking shape."

The first phase of the real estate project in Dubai is expected to be ready by 2011 and the theme park is expected to draw three million visitors annually to the UAE. The master plan for Six Flags Dubailand incorporates design elements as well as other components such as retail and food outlets.
