Metropoliya, 1.5 million sq m mixed-use real estate development in Moscow to be exhibited at Cityscape Abu Dhabi, UAE |
A massive $3.5 billion sustainable real estate development project in Moscow, Russia based on green technology of Japan will be unveiled at Cityscape Abu Dhabi, capital of the UAE. It is for the first time ever a major Russian developer has decided to showcase its project at Cityscape Abu Dhabi that takes place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre from 13-15 May 2008.
The Metropol Group will feature the Metropoliya project, a 1.5 million sq m mixed use real estate development located 3 km from the Kremlin. The project is grouped around 10 buildings connected by green public spaces that will be sustainable and energy efficient with a low carbon footprint. Using technologies tried and tested in Japan, Nikken Sekkei is aiming for a real estate development that uses up to 60% less energy than equivalent projects.
