Almost 3,000 buildings, both mid and high-rise are in various stages of development and construction in Dubai |
Dubai World Central (DWC) will boast of about 1100 apartment towers in its residential cluster and 850 in the commercial zone. There are nearly 200 high-rise structures under development in Dubai Marina and Jumeirah Lake Towers. A few hundred towers each are coming up in Dubai Waterfront, Jumeirah Village South and Dubailand.
The construction of these towers is an incredible development considering Dubai's land area of 4,114 sq km and a population of just over 1.4 million. While inflation is at a high resulting in economic downturn in many countries, Dubai real estate sector is growing as strongly as ever.
