Gulf General Investment Company partners with Layia Hospitality

Gulf General Investment Company (GGICO), a Dubai-based business conglomerate with interests in real estate development, has decided to enter into hospitality sector by partnering with Layia Hospitality, the new hotel management company. Launched early this year, Layia Hospitality plans to create 4 and 5-star hotels, luxury serviced villas and fully furnished apartments.

Mohamed Abdallah Juma Al Sari, MD, said, "GGICO, being a leading company in the UAE, has been diversifying its business interests. With the sound opportunities that currently exist in the hotel market and our strong presence in the real estate market, it was logical for us to enter the hospitality sector. We believe that Layia Hospitality is the right partner for us in this venture".

Founded by Daniel Hajjar, Layia Hospitality is committed to delivering superior standards on all levels. The three distinct brands of Layia Hospitality are Layia Hotels, Living Courts and a 3-star hotel brand that is soon to be announced. Layia Hotels contains three elements, namely, Layia Hotels, Layia Hotel Apartments and Layia Serviced Villas. Layia Hospitality currently has eight properties signed and these will be open in the next 18 months.
