Former Miss World and Bollywood Actor, Priyanka Chopra is the 'Goddess of Atlantis', part of a money-no-object opening party for the Dubai hotel property, sources revealed. In an elaborate ceremony in front of hundreds of A-list celebrities and royalty last week, star has been given the task of officially opening the $1.5 billion hotel property on Palm Jumeirah, Dubai.
As the 'Goddess of Atlantis', the actress will introduce Atlantis Rising, an aerial ballet of fireworks being performed by the legendary Grucci family.
The night at the Atlantis resort will begin with a royal reception hosted by party planner to the stars, Colin Cowie, who, among other big names, has organised several events for US talk show host Oprah Winfrey. Restrictions are being placed on access to the Palm Jumeirah property as part of a massive operation surrounding the grand opening of the hotel.
