| Dubai World Central unveils unique lifestyle concept for DWC Golf City |
Dubai World Central (DWC), the huge, multi-phase urban land development in South West Dubai, unveiled the concept for DWC Golf City - a 15 square kilometer sanctuary for a healthy lifestyle, on the first day of Cityscape Dubai 2008 being held at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre.
DWC Golf City, through its unique real estate design, provides a retreat away from the busy, polluted, car congested, hectic lifestyle of the emirate. Khalid bin Harib, CEO, DWC Real Estate said on the occasion: "DWC Golf City is a far cry from the unhealthy pace, hectic traffic, and daily grind of commuting from home to schools, and shops and workplaces. Its iconic indoor leisure gardens, five world-class golf courses, five-star hotels and health spas are interwoven with an unmatched range of luxury villas and penthouse apartments."
Using sustainable design principles DWC Golf City provides its residents with a healthier lifestyle which allows people to move and congregate in shaded cool environments whilst engaging in a wide range of recreational activities. DWC Golf City will announce the signatures for the golf courses through the rest of the year and commence development by December 2008. The city will be fully occupied by around 2015 when the Dubai World Central-Al Maktoum International Airport will be completely operational.
