| Dh350 billion real estate development planned in Satwa, Dubai |
Meraas Development, a real estate developer has announced a Dh350 billion project that is set to transform the old Satwa area, west of Shaikh Zayed Road in Dubai.The new development, called Jumeirah Gardens, will be a fully integrated, mixed use community with one of the world's tallest buildings.
Covering 110 million square feet, Jumeirah Gardens would change living in one of the most popular neighborhoods of Dubai. A majority of buildings in Satwa are being demolished to make way for the new project. Covering 110 million square feet, Jumeirah Gardens is carved into 7 prime districts including islands. One section would host Dubai Park which will be approximately half the size of Safa Park. Dubai Park will be encircled by residential buildings housing apartments, penthouses, duplexes, villas and commercial properties.
Phase I of the mega-real estate project includes six main blocks of high-, mid- and low-rise office, retail and residential buildings, two hotels and a high-end shopping arcade. Jumeirah Gardens, Dubai will have at least 8 landmark towers.
