Cityscape Abu Dhabi to conclude on Friday, May 16, 2008

HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nayhan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces at Cityscape Abu Dhabi

Cityscape Abu Dhabi was inaugurated by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nayhan, Crown Prince, Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. He also paid visit various stands to have a look at the models of real estate developments.

The Government of Abu Dhabi has requested Cityscape Abu Dhabi, the premier real estate development and investment event, to be extended by one day after a record attendance with an increase of almost 120% from the last year. Cityscape Abu Dhabi will remain open for an extra day at the UAE capital and will conclude on the evening of Friday May 16, 2008.

Mark Goodchild, Project Manager, Cityscape Abu Dhabi, said, "We have been overwhelmed by the response on the first day of the exhibition. We received a formal request from the Abu Dhabi government to extend the event by one more day. This is unprecedented for Cityscape, but considering the massive interest on the first day, it is hardly surprising".

Cityscape Abu Dhabi received the support of the Abu Dhabi government and UAE capital based real estate majors who have shown full support for the event. Major real estate developers such as Mubadala, Sorouh Real Estate, ALDAR Properties and Al Qudra Real Estate will all have a significant presence.
