The Government of Ajman is setting up a committee to speed up the resolution of property disputes in the emirate. The new entity will have the support of the Government of Ajman as well as the ministry of justice.
Omar al Barguthi, DG, Ajman Real Estate Regulatory Authority (ARRA), said, "This committee will be looking exclusively at real estate conflicts that have arisen due to a party not meeting his contractual obligations. The committee will be formed of 5 members nominated by the Executive Council and headed by an experienced judge assigned by the ministry of justice".
Any person facing problem with regard to property dispute in the emirate of Ajman can file a case with the committee. Whatever this authority decides will be final and implemented and become effective. It will be faster and cheaper than going to the court.
