The implementation process of the bylaws of law No 3 of 2005 to regulate property registration in the emirate issued by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi has begun by the Department of Municipal Affairs.
Dr. Jua'an Salem Al Daheri, Chairman, Department of Municipal Affairs, said, "In their terms and regulations, the bylaws aim to regulate property registration affairs in the emirate. They include terms and definitions of property activities and parties concerned along with their jurisdictions and responsibilities".
The property law and its bylaws are issued to keep pace with Abu Dhabi's comprehensive development. The bylaws also stipulated the assignments and specialties of the property registration department and property register that include attestation of signatories, search memos and transaction certificates, conditions and terms of selling and buying properties.
