Al Mazaya Real Estate Development Co, a part of the Kuwait based Mazaya Holding Companies is a real estate company that provides comprehensive and different kinds of real estate products and services in housing projects such as construction opf deluxe villas, high rise towers, commercial buildings and shopping complexes. The company offers turnkey solutions from design to construction and project management of real estate development. The company develops its own projects and handles the construction and sale of third part real estate developments.

Gowealthy.com today caught up with Mr.Tariq, Asst-Devpt Mnager-Duabi Operations, Al Mazaya Real Estate who spoke in detail about the company's projects and vision.

Sky Gardens

What is the present project you are working on?

Presently one of Al Mazaya's very active sites in Dubai Sky Gardens since it is the first independent project to commence at DIFC. We have come with a distinct concept wit Sky Gardens, it being the first independent project to begin at Dubai International Financial Center. Al Mazaya will be managing the project's development from all aspects and offering various services including marketing. First Dubai appointed us to manage the design, construction and marketing development of Sky Gardens at DIFC. 43 level residential tower with around 575 studios, one, two, and three bedroom apoartments and penthouses with five indoor gardens for resident use. The half billion project is scheduled to be completed in 2007. Arabtec has been appointed as the main contractor for the project.

Jumeirah Lake towers

Could you tell me about other current projects of Al Mazaya in Dubai?

We are also currently developing multiple towers at Jumeira Lake Towers, business and residential use. Mazaya Villas, part of the Villa Project is one of Mazaya products in Dubai as well. In addition, Mazaya is considered one of the main developers at Dubai Health Care City being the developer of seven major buildings strategically located in that area. There are also other projects that are yet to be officially launched. Soon we wish to be into the Dubai stock market also.

Being a company headquartered in Kuwait what motivated you to move to Dubai?

We want to be an international company rather than a regional company. Dubai attracts many investors and lots of high rise constructions are going on here in Dubai. We wanted to be a part of this real estate boom and compete in Dubai. That motivated us to put up a base in Dubai. Moreover the most conducive factor here is the good revenue.

 

Could you tell us about the vision of the company?

Being a real estate developer, we are trying to brand ourselves in the real estate development sector world wide and set a new vision of real estate with a unique character. We have many proposals to be implemented not only in Dubai but Middle East and other GCC countries.

What are the future plans of the company?

We believe that with the valuable vision of our CEO, Mr. Khalid Esbaitah we can regionally brand Mazaya's scope of services by offering our real estate development capabilities world wide and consequently be part of every international boom within our sector. We have also future plans of expanding our scope of services into more sectors and industries.

What do you mean by high quality products?

I mean High quality products in terms of the applied finishing plus being unique and different, striking different note to the tradition, and that's what will characterize Mazaya....that's where we want to compete. In Dubai most of the property developments in Sheikh Zayed Road look like metal boxes and about repeated concepts. So we plan to have projects that are unique in their location and design. We would like to ape the architectural design of other parts of the world which has not been yet implemented in Dubai. For the sake of uniqueness we maintain and share international visits to fimiliarize ourselves with new themes and ideas...for example, I was in Kuala Lampur last week and we are approaching Japan, USA,...etc.
