Dubai Metro has to undergo trial tests in two phases. The Static Test is the first phase that involves placing a stationary train on a track and performing tests involving communication systems, signaling systems, power supplies, air-conditioning, on-board electronics and lighting.
The Dynamic Test will take place in the second phase to check that the train runs on the train on the track without passengers on board. It involves tests of various systems while the train is in motion, including propulsion and brake tests, load tests, traction power tests, electromagnetic compatibility tests, automatic train operation tests, communication tests and speed tests.
