Dubai’s iconic retail property, Mall of the Emirates, to go through major makeover

The retail real estate property in Dubai to witness increased facilities for shopping, dining and parking after makeover

UAE's landmark retail real estate, Mall of the Emirates, is about to receive a major makeover programme with just under half a billion dirham to be injected in new space, according to an announcement made by them.  

Fuad Mansoor Sharaf, Vice President, Mall of the Emirates, said: "This major investment for the UAE's favourite shopping destination is imperative in order to meet the increasing demand from newer retailers, who seek a presence in the mall. Since we opened in 2005, we have broken many records, some of which were only meant to be achieved much later."

The retail real estate property in the heart of Dubai will witness increased facilities for shopping, dining and parking and, will be completed by the first quarter of 2010. Since its launch in 2005 the mixed-use real estate development, located in New Dubai, has emerged as a truly world-class landmark with the region's residents and, growing tourist community.
