The workshops included discussions on the BCE's Bahrain Model of Excellence which aims to foster a culture of excellence across public and private sector institutions in accordance with international practices and standards.
Tamkeen's core engagement strategy, values and performance indicators were also discussed at the workshops, in addition to challenges facing Tamkeen and ways of overcoming them.
"We support the BCE's initiatives and commitment to excellence," said Tamkeen chief executive Mahmood Al Kooheji.
"Tamkeen has been working with the BCE over the past few years to help enhance its services to the Bahraini public, and this year was another good opportunity for exchanging knowledge and drawing further on their expertise," he said.
"We have taken active steps towards implementing the Bahrain Model of Excellence which will undoubtedly contribute to fulfilling our goals and bringing us one step towards realising the Economic Vision 2030," he added.
The key objectives of the BCE are to create a sustainable and competitive performance indicator for public and private sector institutions. The Bahrain Model of Excellence strives to promote transparency, innovation, excellence and empowerment to enhance productivity.
