International Symposium on Architectural Membrane
The objectives of International Symposium on Architectural Membrane (ISAM 2009) are to provide information on fundamental properties and present the state-of-the-art in textile roof and inflatable structures. The workshop will address both the theoretical bases for structural analysis necessary for efficient and robust computer implementation. A significant part of the workshop will be devoted to discussing advances in new textile composites for applications in membrane structures, as well as innovative design, construction and maintenance procedures. In addition to a full program of lectures and tutorials presented by key figures responsible for internationally renowned projects from the membrane structure industry and academic organizations, opportunity for study and hands-on development of practical case studies is provided. On the second day of the workshop, an excellent opportunities for both professionals and students to put in manufacturing tensioned structures models, sharing all experiences with rich mix of experts during the process of development and manufacturing up to the final and real model all in friendly tutorial environment.
