St.Lucia is gearing up for the forthcoming 2007 World Cup with its new National Cricket Ground.
The new State of the Art international cricket facility is set in the Beausejour Hills of Gros Islet not far from the tourism hub of Rodney Bay. This location is by no means accidental, as the St Lucian authorities have recognized the important strategic linkages that are growing between sports and tourism.
