Syndicate Nature Trail
Located at 1800 ft. above sea level and at the foothills of Morne Diablotin (the tallest mountain of the island at the Northern forest reserve) this is the easiest of all trails. It stretches up to a distance of a mile and is covered in less than an hour. As it passes through rainforests, walkers get a glimpse of the endangered “Sisserou” and “Jacquot” parrots.
Middleham Falls Trail
Two trails reach these magnificent waterfalls, one from village Cochrane and another from Laudat. They cover 950 acres of lush rainforests. The trail from Cochrane, at the eastern side of Canefield airport, passes through Old Mill Cultural Center at Canefield. Though the trail gets strenuous midway, people relax by taking a bath in the blue pool in the middle of the forests, after reaching the Middleham Falls.
