Dominican Republic offers amazing golfing experience all around the year. There are various special packages and facilities offered by different resort. Most golf clubs provide clinics, lessons and hold annual tournaments. These packages are usually all-inclusive of room, meals, and drinks, plus they also include green fees and cart rentals.

The Dominican Golf Association is active and organizes tournaments all year round. For the Golf enthusiast here is a list of some of the lush green golf courses on the island;
1: Santo Domingo Country Club
It is the most fancy and elegant of the Santo Domingo’s golf clubs, and membership fees ranges from RD$1,000 to RD$250,000. Diplomats are admitted for around RD$150,000 membership fee and around RD$1,600 as monthly dues. The course is especially busy on weekends.

2: The Cayacoa Country Club
It is widely spread over hilly terrain and offers scenic views, and is a 15-minutes drive form the city of Santo Domingo. It consists of a lovely clubhouse with pool and restaurant facilities. Membership is around RD$60,000 with monthly dues of around RD$500.

3: Isabel Villas Golf Club
It is located in the northern Santo Domingo neighborhood, up from Cuesta Hermosa, and alongside the Isabela River. Membership is for around RD$50,000 with a monthly fees of around RD$300.

4: The Metro Country Club
Located on the southeast coast in the resort town of Juan Dolio, it features the 18-hole, par 72 "Los Marlins" course. The membership fee is around RD$25,000 with dues up to RD$1,800 per semester. It hosts the annual Juan Marichal Celebrity Charity Golf Classic, which is held every December, and lures the participation of baseball All-Stars and PGA golf celebrities. It is also the Caribbean's location of Paul Dionne's International Academy of Golf

5: Casa de Campo
Located in the southeast region of La Romana it has three championships, 18-hole courses. The par 72 Teeth of the Dog-Cajuiles Golf Club fronts the Caribbean Sea on seven holes, the Links is a par 71 championship course, and the third, the La Romana Country Club, is a private membership club. Casa de Campo hosts many of the top international tournaments every year, including the annual Casa de Campo Open.

6: Bávaro Resort Golf Course
Situated along the eastern coast of Bávaro, it is an 18 holes par 72 course, which is part of the Bávaro Resort complex.

7: Playa Dorada Golf Course
Located in Playa Dorada resort complex, which is minutes away from the city of Puerto Plata, this is an 18-hole par 72 course. Golf fees for 18 holes are around RD$350 for guests of Playa Dorada complex hotels and around RD$400 for non-guests.

8: Los Mangos Course
This 9-hole, par 4-3/9, in the seaside town of Costambar, is only five minutes west of Puerto Plata and serves residents of the Costambar area as well as guests at Hacienda Resorts in Cofresí.

9: Costa Azul Golf Course
This 9-hole, par 33 course in Cabarete is near the Punta Goleta Resort and about an hour’s drive east of Puerto Plata. Membership in this golf club is around RD$3,000 per year, with a green fee of around RD$45 per 18 holes for members and around RD$250 per 18 holes, RD$150 per nine holes for non-members.

10: Playa Grande Golf Course
Located to the North Coast of Puerto Plata, this is a 7,046 yards 18-hole course. Green fees are around RD$700 per 18 holes, and RD$350 per 9 holes.

11: Loma de Chivo Country Club
Located to the northeastern peninsula of Samaná, this is the par 3, 9-hole course at Gran Bahía Hotel. This is Samaná's first golf course and is open to the public. Green fees are around RD$135 per person.

12: Jarabacoa
The mountain town of Jarabacoa has a 9- hole course for use by the vacationing Dominicans who have second homes in that area.

13: Bonao Golf Club
In Bonao, an hour's drive from Santo Domingo, the Falconbridge Dominicana mining company keeps a flat, short course, 9-hole golf facility primarily for company employees.

14: Las Aromas Golf Club
Situated in the central Cibao city of Santiago, less than an hour from Puerto Plata, this 18-hole course is a private membership club, which allows day visitors to play. Green fees are around RD$150, membership fee is RD$5,000 and RD$2,500 a year.
