Diving activity is more than just time spent blowing bubbles. Jamaica has the perfect package of diving and surfing activities needed to enjoy the culture. Jamaica has several dive sites which so much to see underwater.

Considering the fact that Jamaica has more than 200,000 satisfied divers annually, Jamaica certainly deserves consideration for future plans. The dive sites are only a few minutes from shore, and this gives the divers a sight of the marine live that is a kaleidoscope of living color. Jamaica's underwater world is rimmed with coral reefs, etched with canyons and grottos and sheered with vertical walls.
Watch for enormous trees of black coral and gorgonian. The walls here have many overhangs and ledges for you to explore. Watch for lobster, king crab, green and spotted moray eels, and a host of other marine creatures. Jamaica's north coast has a very diverse coral reef structure. Located on the edge of the Cayman Trench, incredible walls begin at 60 ft. (20m.) and drop down to over 150ft. (50m.). These walls are completely covered in a large variety of hard and soft corals. Beautiful elephant-ear, basket, tube, and rope sponge are found in beautiful colors of red, pink, yellow, and orange.
Jamaica offers a range of dive sites that are exciting for novices as well as experts, with an average water temperature of 82 degrees Fahrenheit year round, and great visibility of about 100 feet. There are many unexplored sites, most of the diving occurs along the northern shore, just off the gorgeous white sand beaches and some great resorts.
