Grenada has an irregular coastline, with many small bays, beaches, coves and inlets. There are about 45 beautiful beaches. All beaches on the island are public property allowing free access to them.
It also has several secluded and private beaches, many of which seem untouched. Most of the popular beaches lie in the southwestern part of Grenada such as the beaches at Calabash, Lance aux Epines, and Horseshoe.

Numerous hotels are located nearby. The beach is well sheltered and usually calm, and is a favourite with both locals and visitors alike. It proves to be promising option for those interested in water sports, and scuba diving. The beach is also lined with shops, vendors market and several good restaurants.
There are around six beaches that lie between Grand Anse and Point Salines. These white sand beaches are easily access able and usually a little more private than Grand Anse.
