Sentosa
This resort island is a must for all visitors to Singapore. Serviced by cable cars, the sandy beaches and rustic nature trails of Sentosa are minutes away from the busy city streets. Originally a British military base, it was converted into a resort in 1972. It is now home to the symbolic "merlion", the tourism icon of Singapore. Underwater World, Dolphin Lagoon, colonial architecture and landmarks, museums and entertainment venues are just some of the attractions of the island.

Pulau Ubin
Shaped like a boomerang, this island in the northeast is a covered by low hills and thatched huts. The island has been developed into a nature paradise with hiking trails, camping sites, shelters and chalets. Much of the natural environment has been preserved along with the rustic villages that give testament to life in the old days.

Sentosa IslandSt. John's Island
St. John's started was a penal colony during the British colonial days. Since then it has been converted to a holiday resort complete with sandy beaches, picnic spots, swimming lagoons, trekking routes and soccer fields for the perfect weekend vacation.

Kusu Island
Also known as Turtle Island, the story goes that a giant turtle once saved two shipwrecked sailors by turning itself into an island. The two sailors, a Chinese and Malay, who were so grateful that they built a Chinese temple and a Malay shrine along with the statue of a giant turtle on the island. Stunning views of the mainland can be seen from Kusu's beaches and its hilltop. The warm waters of the lagoon are ideal for swimming.

Lazarus & Sisters Islands
Lazarus and Sisters Islands are tiny islands in the southeast with some of the best tropical beaches in the region. The waters around the island are ideal for swimming, snorkeling and diving. However the currents are quite strong and care should be taken by scuba diving.
