Contemporary Art Museum
This museum, located at the S.Tiago Fort, has a collection of Portuguese contemporary art. It organizes several exhibitions by inviting artists and works from other galleries and institutions. It is open to the public from Monday to Friday at 10.00hrs to 12.30hrs and 14.00hrs to 17.30hrs.
Sacred Art Museum
This museum located at Bispo Street, contains religious sculptures from the 16th century to the 18th century and Sacred jewelry from the 17th/ 18th centuries. It is open to the public from Tuesday to Saturday at 10.00hrs to 12.30hrs and 14.00hrs to 18.00hrs.
City's Museum
Located at the Town Hall, this museum shows the 500 years of life of Funchal city. It is open to the public from Monday to Friday at 09.00hrs to 12.30hrs and 14.00hrs to 17.30hrs.
Mário Barbeito de Vasconcelos Library Museum
Located at Arriaga Avenue, this museum offers a collection about Christopher Colombus, rare books and coins, along with focus on Madeira's history. It is open to the public from Monday to Friday at 09.30hrs to 13.00hrs and 15.00hrs to 18.00hrs.
Henrique e Francisco Franco Museum
The masterpieces of this museum, located at João de Deus Street, were created by the Henrique and Francisco Franco brothers. It is open to the public from Tuesday to Saturday at 10.00hrs to 12.30hrs and 14.300hrs to 17.30hrs.
Frederico de Freitas House Museum
Located at Santa Clara Roadway (Calçada), this is a home for several thematic exhibitions such as tiles, religious sculpture, furniture and pottery. It is open to the Tuesday to Saturday at 10.00hrs to 12:30hrs and 14.00hrs to 18.00hrs.
