Marine Adventures in the Turk and Caicos Islands

The pristine blue waters of the Caribbean surround the island chain of Turks and Caicos. The islands' beaches and reefs are the ideal place to engage in water sports ranging from diving to snorkeling and whale watching.

Snorkeling
With visibility of up to 200 feet, the shallow reefs around the shore line form wonderful snorkeling territory. You can watch multi-colored fish and other forms of marine life in their natural habitation, as well as get an in depth look at the formation of coral reefs. Snorkeling does not require extensive diving experience and most boat tour operator provide equipment.

Windsurfing
The wind in your air, the waves beneath you feet, the clear and calm waters offer excellent opportunities for windsurfers of all levels. Colorful sails off the coast are a familiar site at the Turks and Caicos Islands. Equipment and instruction is also available from instructor and beach clubs.

Parasailing
While strictly not a water sport, parasailing 300 feet above the Caribbean Sea is a breathtaking experience. Provos’s north shore is the ideal place to undertake this sport, particularly at Gray Bay beach where you can go solo or fly in tandem.
