The most common species of dolphins that you will find in the dolphin centers is the “Bottle Nose” Dolphin. This species is found in the Caribbean seas, and receives its name because of the shape of the dolphin’s nose.
These friendly animals live in all the oceans but in the poles, at the dolphin facilities they eat capelin, hearing, squid and sardines among others. Depending on their age and activity each dolphin receives daily between seven and twelve kilos of frozen fish.
