3: A Knowledge centre: For providing training and education facilities.

4: A commercial city: This encloses a large hypermarket and provides commercial services.

5: Business class hotel: For gourmet dining and short stays.

6: An administrative block: For accommodating government offices.

7: Residential and recreational complex: For medium and long term accommodation.

The technical infrastructure will include a broadband network to meet the IT and telecommunication needs of all companies. With a wide range of investments and incentives, the government of Mauritius welcomes industrial investors and individual entrepreneurs for their IT ventures. The government favors the setting up of all IT related services. To promote e-business and e-commerce, the Electronic Transactions Act provides the legal frame work for the facilitation of electronic transactions and communication for IT businesses.

The incentives offered for ICT projects include Choice of zero corporate tax up to 2008 or 5% corporate tax rate for the life of the company and accelerated depreciation allowances for ICT equipment.
