Elizabeth Castle and The Hermitage
This castle dating back to late 16th Century is built on a rocky islet in St Aubin's Bay, St Helier.
Sir Walter Raleigh, the Governor of Jersey at that time, had named the castle after Queen Elizabeth I. After being an active part in the history of the island over the centuries, it is presently Jersey’s foremost museum sites and can be hired for functions. Displays include exhibits reflecting the role of the castle in the island’s history. The Hermitage is a small chapel and has been a holy place since the 12th century. It is dedicated to the saint from whom the town of St Helier takes its name. It can be reached on foot at low tide via a causeway or by a water vehicle during the summer months. Mont Orgueil Castle
This medieval castle along the east coast in Gorey, was a predominant structure during the period and has protected the Islanders from the time of King John in the early 13th century. The tableaux reflect the castle's rich history.

Grosnez Castle
The ruins of the Grosnez Castle that probably dates back to the 14th century are situated on a headland on the north west corner of the island, at Les Landes. Nearby, to its south lies the Le Pinacle, a 200 ft high rock that was an object of worship and a ceremonial site for several thousands years.
