RSSNext to Pigeon Island, Cap Estate is a posh residential area with large villas and estates nestled in the hills east of the highway along the coast. The views from along the road are quite remarkable and mesmerising.
The resort of Odyssey St Lucia dominates the pretty Bécune Bay and is the main way into the beach. Charges are less than EC$200 per person for use of the beach and the all-inclusive hotel facilities for the day (10am-1am). This includes the variety of water sports, lunch, dinner, drinks and evening entertainment. Another obscure path off the highway to the south of the hotel will also bring you to the beach, however that will not allow you access the facilities on the beach.
The Smuggler's Cove, a protected, cliff-lined, white sand beach is an ideal place for swimming and snorkelling. You can reach here through the steps that meander down a steep hill to the beach.
St Lucia Golf and Country Club, the island's only public course, is located to the south of the Cap Estate homes and across the Odyssey St Lucia. It is an well-maintained modern and excellent place to enjoy a good relaxing game of golf.
