Telecommunications
The Telecommunication Company provides visitors Public Phone Booths throughout the entire Global Village area.
Foreign exchange booth
Global Village has foreign exchange booths to facilitate the exchange
of different currencies and transfer of funds.
Banks & ATMs
To help visitors withdraw money for their purchases, local Banks are providing ATM machines.
Information kiosks
Information kiosks at the entrances of the Global Village as well as
other locations within the Global Village provide visitors with general
information related to the Global Village and its events. Leaflets,
brochures and guidance can be used for locations and directions within
the Global Village.
Services for the disabled/elderly
At the various entrances, push chairs for children and wheel chairs for the elderly/disabled are available.
Mosques
There are Mosques, for both men and women within the Global Village so
that visitors can pray on time. The Mosques are equipped with
loudspeakers to enable visitors to hear the call to prayer.
The Global Village public address system
A special room has been set aside for broadcasting services; in
addition, loudspeakers are distributed throughout the Village to
transmit guidance information and general instructions.
Parking lots
The entire parking lot has been designed to accommodate thousands of
cars. There are also dedicated parking zones for public transport,
taxis, private buses and Global Village shuttle buses. Valet parking
services are available as well and provision for VIP drop-off and
waiting area has also been catered for.
Washroom facilities
Toilets for men and women, including those with special needs, are
scattered across the Global Village to meet the needs of the visitors.
Public transport
Public Transport companies are on hand to ensure that sufficient taxis
are available near the main entrance gate and other entrances at all
times during operating hours to transport visitors to and from the
Global Village. Public buses are also available to ferry visitors from
the city to the Global Village and back. Global Village provides
special shuttle buses to pick up and drop off visitors from and to the
Global Village entrance/exit gates.
Special attention has been given to guidance signs which are distributed throughout the Global Village, orienting the visitors and guiding them to the amenities and other areas of the complex.
