Being a British territory, Gibraltar has all major high street names of UK’s retail market, including Marks & Spencer, Safeway's, Checkout Tesco, BHS, Mothercare and Dorothy Perkins. The majority of the shops are on or around Main Street. This has been transformed in recent years into a beautiful pedestrian friendly shopping area. Amongst the shops of Main Street you'll find numerous money exchange shops. |
The vast majority offers a very good rate of exchange and charges no commission on cash exchanges.
There are many local shops where you can look out for Chinese linens, designer sunglasses, the latest CDs, electrical equipment, audio-visual gadgets, cigarettes, cigars, spirits, jewellery, watches, porcelain, perfumes and designer wear.
