There is a main shopping avenue here, a few mini malls and lots of interesting establishments nestled away from the main establishment area. Each store is unique and stocks merchandise that is competitively priced with goods from the United States and Europe. Fine shopping is extends to the resorts that also have an array of stores. Watches, gold jewelry, Dutch cheese, Cuban cigars and fine china can be found at reasonable prices there as well. |
Bonaire has a number of large and small markets where you can find most of the ingredients to make dishes like a killer chili, some nice pasta dishes, and more. Cultimara is the largest supermarket on Bonaire, located in downtown Kralendijk. There are also a few more provision stores that shall meet your requirement. Near the Town Pier, you'll usually find shops of Venezuelan produce merchants in a covered pavilion, and you can usually find the freshest product here. Fresh fish is also available on Bonaire, with Wahoo or Dorado being sold for as little as around US$3 a pound.
