K&K am Waagplatz restaurant was once the property of the Freysauff family, who once was counted among their close friend Leopold Mozart, the composer's father. Its cellar, the downstairs section of the restaurant, is still called the Freysauff. The interior of the restaurant is particularly pleasant, with white-linen tablecloths, candles, and flowers, and windows opening onto the street. Café Tomaselli

Enjoying more than 14 types of coffee was none other than Mozart's beloved, Konstanze, who often dropped in as her house was just next door. The Tomasellis set up shop here in 1753, became noted as "chocolatmachers," and are still running the place.
