There are innumerous restaurants in Hungary serving a variety of cuisines. From cafes to pubs, from fast food joints to fine dining restaurants, Hungary has it all. A csárda will offer local specialties in a traditional atmosphere. A small, informal inn is called a vendéglö while a still smaller version of this is called a kisvendéglö. Cukrászda is the place to relish small cakes and pastries. Generally, it is customary to round up the bill and add a service charge by the staff. The information about the service charge is either on the menu or on the bill itself. If there is no indication of a service charge being added to the cost of the meal, it is customary to leave a tip somewhere in the range of 10 to 15%.
