A little pathway from the Sharjah-Ras Al Khaimah highway leads to this resort on the edge of the lagoon demarcating Umm Al Quwain. For the adventurous, the hotel offers a host of water sports apart from 24X7 check in/room service facilities. But what makes Barracuda unique is the Duty Free liquor store adjoining it. As per the UAE rules, non Muslims require a permit/licence to purchase alcohol. However one may purchase liquor from this store quite cheaply and without a licence.
