Innsbruck has always been a lively city. Since the first settlements of 1180 Innsbruck has grown at a steady rate, which clustered in the area now known as the old quarter. Innsbruck's various districts (Altstadt, Pradl, Wilten, Saggen) were gradually amalgamated and became part of the city as it is today. |
