Accommodation in Seychelles

The islands of Seychelles offer the visitor an extensive range of accommodation, from self-catering apartments to luxury hotels. Most hotels adhere to international standards and come with air conditioning, private bathrooms, swimming pools and sports facilities.

Many hotels and guest houses are former plantation houses modestly renovated and run by the resident owner. For such a tiny country it’s surprising that the range of accommodation is so large.  From 2-3 room self-catering guest houses to premier world class resorts and private islands, a Seychelles holiday fits most reasonable budgets.

Here's a list of some of the most exclusive hideaways on the isles.

Mahe

Banyan Tree

This resort is set in the private and lovely Bay - one of the 10 most beautiful beaches in the world boasting some of the most breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean.

Sainte Anne Resort

Located within the Sainte Anne Marine Park, this 200-hectare private island retreat is a small green jewel set in the vibrant blue of the Indian Ocean.

Le Meridien Fisherman's Cove

A byword of peace, tranquility, luxury and refinement, Fisherman's Cove is a favourite haunt of the sophisticated & the cosmopolitan. Here, indulgence is a way of life.

The Wharf

Upscale, yet economical. The Wharf is ideally positioned between the Seychelles international airport and Victoria and is perfect for one or two overnights on the way to or from the other islands.

Praslin

Lemuria

In addition to being a 5-star resort, Lemuria has the first 18 hole championship golf course in Seychelles, one of the 50 best in the world.  All the rooms and villas in this exclusive holiday haven face the beach.

The Black Parrot

Perched on a hillside overlooking the ocean, the Black Parrot has long been patronised by the rich and famous.  This retreat houses only 12 rooms, all junior suites.

La Reserve

Although located on the bay, adjacent to the bustling Anse Volbert, La Reserve seems remote and secluded because of the hills in between.

Paradise Sun

Owing to all the amenities on hand, The Paradise Sun seems larger than it actually is. It stretches along one of the best beaches in the Seychelles.

La Digue

La Digue Island Lodge

The largest resort or hotel in the Seychelles, the Island Lodge is where the incumbents of other hotels and guest houses tend to congregate when they're not off wandering around the island.

Patatran Village

Patatran Village is built on the rocks that frame the beautiful Anse Patate. The reception area has been moulded around a granite boulder that lends a homely touch to the environs.
