Sonesta Island Sonesta Island is a private islet for guests of the Sonesta Hotel and the Sonesta Suites. It is located in the downtown harbourfront area of Oranjestad. Sonesta has purchased this private island to offer their guests a sandy protected beach just off shore. Scheduled ferries transport their guests from the hotel properties to an island that has a restaurant, volleyball, hammocks and other amenities that a make a visitor relax in this sunny paradise.

De Palm Island De Palm Island can be reached by a 5 minute ferry ride from the mainland. It offers a magnificent experience for snorkeling, snuba and scuba diving with an abundance of coral formations and colorful blue Parrot Fish. Hammocks, food and beverage facilities, fun games, a playground for children, snuba and snorkeling facilities(including equipment) are available.
