RSSAnguilla is located in the Caribbean Islands between18 15 N, 63 10 W east of Puerto Rico. Its boundaries touch the waters of the Caribbean Sea and North Atlantic Ocean. The total area of Anguilla is 102 sq km land. In comparison, it is half the size of Washington, DC, the capital of the USA.
The territory of Anguilla consists of the island of Anguilla itself as well as numerous other islands and cays, most of which are very small and uninhabited. These include Anguillita, Blowing Rock, Cove Cay, Crocus Cay, Deadman's Cay, Dog Island, East Cay, Little Island, Little Scrub Island, Mid Cay, North Cay, Prickly Pear Cays, Rabbit Island, Sandy Island (Sand Island), Scilly Cay, Scrub Island, Seal Island, Sombrero (Hat Island), South Cay, South Wager Island and West Cay.
Anguilla enjoys a coastline of 61 km. It experiences tropical climate which is moderated by northeast trade winds. It has a flat terrain with coral and limestone in abundance. The lowest point of the island is 0 m at Caribbean Sea and the highest at 65 m at Crocus Hill.
