Anjouan, the virgin island lies in the southern hemisphere in the Indian Ocean. It is a tropical retreat, an ideal destination for a relaxing and rejuvenating vacation. Anjouan has two seasons, namely, hot and wet season called Kashkazy and cool and dry season called Koussy.
Anjouan experiences tropical marine climate with maximum temperatures ranging from 27° to 32° while the minimum hovers around15° and 23°. The weather is warm and humid during from Kashkazy, i.e., December to April and cooler and dry during Koussy, i.e. May to November.
The wet season between November and April is not a particularly healthy time to visit Anjouan. The tropical conditions produce consistently hot days, with high temperatures. The weather becomes very humid and sees outburst of monsoonal wind or cyclone. Therefore, the best time to visit Anjouan is in the cooler months between May and October.
