When renting a motor scooter or bicycle, remember to drive on the left and wear sun block and a helmet. Bicycles ($10 to $15 a day) and scooters ($30 to $35 a day) can be rented in George Town when cruise ships are in port. |
On Cayman Brac or Little Cayman your hotel can make arrangements for you. A few resorts also offer bicycles for local sightseeing.
Car RentalsThe major agencies have offices in a plaza across from the airport terminal in Grand Cayman, and Andy's has a new building close to the airport, but many car-rental firms have free pickup and drop-off along Seven Mile Beach so you can rent just on the days you want to tour. McLaughlin is the only agency on Little Cayman, though you probably won't need to rent a car there.
