RSSThere are a number of local and international car rental agencies. Most of the local agencies have a minimum three-day rental period. Visitors will need to purchase a local driving license. To obtain a local driving permit, a legitimate driver's license must be presented at the traffic department at the Central Police Station on the Carenage. The cost is around EC$30.00. These are also available from the car rental companies. Driving is on the left hand side on the island. There is a network of approximately 650 miles of paved roads and most of these main roads are in good condition.
