Young Island Taxi Association can be reached through Young Island on VHF 68. Chevi Taxi is recommended.
Bequia
A taxi around the island can be arranged for around US$45. Bright & colourful pick-up trucks with names like ‘Messenjah’ ply as taxis with benches in the back. Call them by phone or VHF radio.
Buses
Minibuses from Kingstown connect the Little Tokyo Fish Market terminal to all parts of St Vincent Island. No service is available on Sundays or holidays. On Bequia, a cheap and reliable bus service is available. Buses leave from the jetty at Port Elizabeth and can be stopped anywhere to pick you up.?>?>?>?>?>?>?>
Frequent and easy minibuses also run east if you need to get to Young Island or Calliaqua.
