Getting aound in Bermuda

Getting around the island of Bermuda is relatively easy with a wide variety of options available from taxis and buses to scooters and ferries. However more modern modes of getting around are also on hand.

Taxis
Taxis around the island are metered as per Government regulations. The taxi drivers are informative and friendly, serving as unofficial tour guides for your journey.

Public Bus
Buses service almost all areas of interest with clearly marked bus stops. Bus drivers require exact change when boarding the bus. However Transportation Passes for daily and weekly travel are also available, and are more convenient.

Scooters and Bicycles
A fun way to get around is by renting a scooter or bicycle so that you can wind your way across the curving roads and enjoy the scenery at your leisure. Speed limit is 35 kilometers per hour; gas stations are open from 7am to 7pm; and you drive on the left side of the road.

Ferries
Ferries serve the same purpose as buses and are affordable with daily, weekly or monthly pass. They stop off at all major points, providing a scenic trip around the island.
