Visa regulations for entry into BVI

Nationals of Britain, Australia, Canada, U.S.A, Japan, and other EU countries do not require a visa for a stay up to 30 days. Nationals of the Commonwealth countries except nationals of Guyana and Mozambique, Latin American and Eastern European countries also do not require a visa. Passengers in transit holding valid onward ticket and not staying on the island for more than 14 days also do not require a visa.

A valid passport and a return ticket are essential for entry into this island. Nationals of USA and Canada can also produce a recognized form of identity like birth certificate for entry in lieu of the passport.

All types of visa cost £28 for a period of up to 30 days however, extensions to a maximum of 6 months can be granted by the British Virgin Islands Immigration Department, Road Town, Tortola, British Virgin Islands. T 43701;F 44399). Applications can be made to UK Passport Agency or the nearest British Consulate or Embassy.
