All visitors to Belize must present a valid passport before entering the country. Nationals of countries like Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, United States and Venezuela do not require visas to enter the country.
Nationals of Caricom countries and of the European Community member nations like Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and United Kingdom also do not need any visa to enter the country.
Citizens of Bolivia, China, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, Egypt, India, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Nigeria, Pakistan, Palestine, Peru, Sri Lanka, Syria and UAE need clearance from the Director of Immigration in order to enter Belize.
